A new season of the fashion show The Next Top Model could be coming soon, with the network aiming to bring in an additional 10,000 viewers in the US.
“We want to make sure we’re really good with the audience, that we’re bringing new viewers, that they’re interested in what we’re doing, and I think they’ll be interested in the quality of the show,” host Melissa DePasquale told The Telegraph.
“If we’re not that good, we won’t be able to sustain it.”
A spokeswoman for The Next Big Thing said: “We are in the early stages of planning a second season of The Next Model, which will be an unprecedented event in the history of television.”
The show, which started on November 15, has become one of the most popular shows in the world, with around 70 million viewers tuning in.
It was initially co-produced by MTV and Logo and aired on the networks in the UK from October to February.
