U.S. textile company American Home Textile sent President Donald Trump a $25,000 check last week for his policies, according to the company’s website.
The checks, which were sent on Nov. 1, came as Trump signed legislation that would eliminate the federal minimum wage to $7.25 an hour and roll back the Obama-era environmental regulations.
The company sent Trump a message on Nov 2 to congratulate him on signing the bill, which is expected to save the U.N. $1.4 billion over 10 years, according the website.
Trump is also expected to sign a bill on Tuesday that will allow him to withdraw the U,S.
from the Paris climate accord, the company said.
Trump has said he wants to keep the U.,S.
in the agreement and is reportedly considering a withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade pact as well.
