What to expect from the Mumbai Olympics: A peek at the home textile, bargasose home textile and nile home textil sections
The Mumbai Games are about to kick off with a home textile section.
This home texturizing section has some pretty nice features, such as a fold-out sofa and two chairs for the athletes, along with a water closet and an extra bed.
The bargoose section has a number of things to look forward to, including a large space for athletes to stretch out during the race, as well as a small room for training.
The nile section has the most rooms, including two separate training rooms for both men and women.
For the home textile sections, the designers have taken the concept of bargoos and niles and mixed them with a very modern aesthetic, which you’ll be able to see in the images below.
The fabric on the two sections looks more like silk, and the materials used in the construction are all recycled materials.
There are several more features to look at in the home fabric sections, including an outdoor kitchen, a small lounge and even a private bathroom.
It’s clear that the designers were focused on creating a good home for athletes and the home is very stylish.
The Mumbai Olympics are set to start on February 15, but you can catch the entire event live at 3 p.m. local time (7 p.l.m., IST) on CNN-IBN TV.
