Trump is under pressure to stay at the Trump International Hotel in Washington and leave Bargoos home textile business.
But he says he will stay, saying it’s his business.
“If I leave, I leave the company, I’ll be able to build more buildings, and I’ll do that in a much better way,” Trump said Monday on Fox News.
“It’s a great company, and it’s a wonderful company.
It’s been terrific.
We’ll have great success there.”
The president said he doesn’t want to leave because “I’m the president of the United States and I have the duty to run the United State.”
“We’re going to have great prosperity in the United Nations, which we’re going after and the world’s getting better,” he said.
“We’re gonna have tremendous prosperity.”
